Overview

The Junior Accountant will assist the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting month-end and year-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
• Reconciliations
• IDT transaction maintenance
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, including suppliers and HMRC
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS)
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor queries
• Perform other administrative and finance-related duties as required

Qualifications

• Undertaking ACCA/AAT studies and willingness for CPD
• US GAAP Knowledge
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Experience with ERP systems like Netsuite, SAP
