Job summary

A bespoke joinery company in Basildon is seeking a CAD Technician / CNC Router Programmer to produce detailed drawings for manufacture from designs. The role involves helping to create cutting sheets and assist with day-to-day operations. Experience with CNC machines is preferred. This position offers a competitive pay rate based on experience, and you will eventually learn to program a Biesse 5-axis CNC machine.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in using a CNC router machine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings for manufacture from architect or designer's concept drawings.
• Help produce cutting sheets and order material.
• Assist with general day-to-day running of the business as needed.
• Eventually program the Biesse 5-axis CNC machine.
