Details

This role is to support a Woman. Drivers licence required: Yes. Own vehicle needed: Yes.

Hours per week: Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 7.45am-4pm and one Sunday morning shift a month; Mon, Wed evenings 6pm-11pm. Plus cover/bank hours available.

Hourly pay rate: Weekdays - £15.50. Weekends - £16.50 per hour. Mileage rate (if applicable): 40p per mile when transporting me in your own car to and from appointments.

• I wear an extensive plastic body brace at all times and am unable to come out of it. This means I cannot bend or sit down so have to be washed within my body brace, lying down on my bed. I am able to wash my hands, face and brush my teeth but you will have to be comfortable with all other aspects of personal care.
• Daily bed bath
• Foot care
• Reporting on the condition of my brace
• Coping with accidents and illness / Monitoring pressure sores caused by the brace
• Accessing the local community and driving me to and from appointments, visiting friends and family, and the shops, as well as assisting me to further my interests
• Laundry and changing bed linen / domestic tasks

• The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours.
