Job description
Overview

In response to significant demand, we are looking for instrumental specialist teachers to join our team to deliver individual, whole‑class, group and ensemble lessons for up to 6 hours per week across Warwickshire.

Disciplines
  • Vocal (all genres)
  • Brass (both upper and lower)
  • Keyboard/Piano
Teaching

Teaching will take place during the school day with some sessions expected at the Area Music Centre up to 6:30 p.m. We provide support and training to enable ongoing professional development, especially in group and whole‑class practice.

  • Independent and collaborative teamwork dedicated to musical development and safeguarding of children and young people.
  • Fluency Duty: speak and provide accurate spoken English to the public as required by the Code of Practice for public sector workers.
  • Subject to pre‑engagement checks including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Salary
  • Instrumental: £19,970 F.T.E. (£22.01 p/hr) to £29,825 F.T.E. (£32.87 p/hr) over 33 weeks.
  • Whole Class: £40739 F.T.E. (£37.99 p/hr) over 36 weeks plus 3 weeks planning.
  • Pay is annualised, paid monthly throughout the year. Teaching hours may vary with demand. Travel expenses are paid.
