Job description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional IT support and customer service? We’re looking for a proactive and skilled IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team and be the first point of contact for all IT-related incidents and service requests. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining the availability, flexibility, and security of our IT Services — helping us meet business goals and exceed customer expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support, delivering
  • Own and resolve incidents and service requests within defined timescales.
  • Monitor system alerts and elevate issues appropriately.
  • Maintain and update user guides and documentation.
  • Conduct IT equipment audits and maintain accurate asset records.
  • Install, configure, and repair IT equipment and infrastructure (including cabling).
  • Collaborate with third‑party support providers to resolve faults.
  • Travel to user locations to provide on‑site support and maintenance.
  • Participate in IT projects and contribute to continuous improvements. Stay current with technical training and development
  • Hours of work: Monday – Friday 37.5hrs per week (this will be based on site in Dover, Kent)
Knowledge & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience as an IT Technician.
  • Hands‑on experience with hardware support and Microsoft Windows OS.
  • Application and end‑user support experience.
  • Active Directory administration and Microsoft Office suite support essential.
  • Understanding of PC/laptop components, fault diagnosis, and OS installation.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Telephony (PBX/VoIP), CCTV, and access control systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Full UK driving licence required.

Salary: IRO £29k

Please note that this role does not offer hybrid working. The post holder will be required to work within our Dover estate for the full working hours.
