Overview

Cygnus Academies Trust are seeking an exceptional IT technician to join our dedicated IT team on a full-time and permanent basis. This is a dynamic and hands-on role, supporting the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the Trust's IT systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line and second-line support to staff and students, working remotely or on-site depending on the nature of the issue.
  • Your work will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of technology across our schools, enabling effective teaching, learning and administration through secure and reliable IT services.
Requirements / Compliance

This post is a customer-facing position and falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the JD/Person Specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages.
