Overview

MCS Group is looking for an IT Support Engineer for a 6 month temporary post in the Ballyclare area! As IT Support Engineer, you will play a hands on role in the day to day support of software and systems for our client. This is an on-site position in the Ballyclare area, so is ideal for someone who wants to avoid the Belfast commute!

The Position
  • Providing first to third line IT support, including resolving tickets and technical issues.
  • Setting up new user accounts and configuring hardware (including Android devices and modern printer systems).
  • Supporting internal projects such as asset management and cloud backups.
  • Managing Active Directory and Office 365 environments.
  • Assisting with change management requests and system upgrades.
The Person
  • This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a customer-focused approach, confident working across a range of IT support tasks.
  • Experience in IT support, including Active Directory and Office 365 is essential.
  • Knowledge of modern printer systems and cloud backups.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
  • Experience with SQL is nice to have.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems.
Salary

Salary: £30,500 per annum (paid at a rate of £14.66/hour).

Hours: 40-hour working week

Holidays: 33 days' annual leave (including bank holidays) accrued pro rata.
