Job description

IT Support Engineer

Our client is an established bank based in Central London.

They are looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Support and Infrastructure.

The following are the required skills for the position:

  1. Microsoft Windows (all versions) experience to a high level, including troubleshooting and resolving issues confidently using knowledge bases.
  2. Active Directory expertise, including security groups, administration/deployment, LDAP, and ADSI.
  3. Citrix XenApps administration, maintenance, and support of existing XenApps server farm.
  4. Windows Server Environment (2012/2016): design, deployment, maintenance, and support.
  5. VMware virtualisation environments.
  6. Experience with backups using various applications.
  7. Networking skills, including design, troubleshooting, and installation (VLAN, routing, switching, TCP/IP, OSI model).
  8. Router maintenance, wireless configuration, installation, and setup.
  9. Proficiency in PowerShell for tasks such as backup, Azure, EMC.
  10. VPN administration and deployment.
  11. DNS administration, both internal and external.

The salary for this position is circa £45K - £55K.

This is a hybrid role requiring presence in the office at least 3 days a week.

The position is a 12-month full-time contract (FTC initially).
