Technology is at the heart of Thatchers Cider, and we are currently investing in our site, brand and IT applications and infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic IT team, where you will be the first point of contact for all IT support queries, troubleshooting and resolving issues as well as building and managing hardware. This role is based full-time at our Myrtle Farm offices, 5 days a week.

Our IT team plays a vital role in supporting innovation and growth, recently contributing to the implementation of a new canning line and several other strategic projects.

What will I be doing?

In this role, you'll dive into supporting all aspects of our infrastructure across the business, working with relevant hardware and IT applications, to continuously improve both efficiency and IT security across our site. You’ll be working closely with a variety of people across the business, building relationships to support them with IT tickets, resolving any queries in a swift and professional manner.

You’ll have experience in:

  • IT support function, processing issues and requests.
  • Provisioning computers, mobiles and tablets.
  • Configuring, maintaining and supporting Microsoft 365 environment and applications.
  • The understanding of networks, vlan, subnets, VPN, DHCP and DNS.
  • Supporting both VOIP and Mobile telephony.
  • Providing, monitoring and supporting security solutions from AV to MFA.
  • Familiarity with VMWare and virtual server environments.
  • Having an understanding of systems backups and Disaster recovery.
  • To have knowledge of Azure environments, functions and capabilities.
  • Working on small to medium projects and have self‑motivated approach to ensuring the desired outcome.
  • Working with partners to provide support and diagnose problems.
