Job description

CK Group are recruiting for an IT Support Analyst 2nd Line Support to join a leading provider of advanced analytics, research and technology solutions to the life sciences industry in Bournemouth on a contract basis for 6 months initially.

Salary: 151.48 per day PAYE

IT Support Analyst Role
  • Recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties & recommend system modifications to reduce user problems.
  • Adhere to established IT policies, procedures and standards and ensure conformance with information systems, goals & procedures.
  • Provide creative, effective solutions & recommend procedures and resources to enhance efficiency, productivity, & end user satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced Service Desk staff in areas such as problem resolution, communication, etc.
Your Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field experience
  • Experience of PC software (Microsoft operating systems and applications suites, email systems, etc. within a network environment or equivalent combination of education, training and experience)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft server, workstation and networking technologies
  • Working knowledge of industry standards with regards to system and network administration
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
