A leading manufacturer in Antrim is seeking an experienced IT Networking/Security Engineer to maintain and improve the stability, performance, and security of their IT networks. Ocho have been exclusively engaged to recruit an experienced IT Networking/Security Engineer for a leading manufacturer based in Antrim. This hands-on role will see you play a key part in maintaining and improving the stability, performance, and security of their IT network and systems during a period of transition and increased project activity.

You'll support and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewall infrastructure, manage SD-WAN and VPN connections, and assist with configuration, upgrades, and documentation of network systems. You'll also contribute to major infrastructure and security improvement projects covering Wi-Fi, firewall, endpoint security, and cloud environments.

We're looking for someone with proven network administration experience, a strong understanding of networking protocols and cybersecurity principles, and hands‑on knowledge of firewalls, Active Directory, Group Policies, and Microsoft 365. Experience ensuring compliance with ISO27001 and GDPR standards will be highly regarded.
