IT ENGINEER

Cheltenham – with travel to our other sites (UK)

Up to £32,000 per annum, plus Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, Employee Assistance Programme, Recommend a Friend Bonus Scheme, Performance Awards, Long Service Awards and opportunities for training and development

Your new role :

Reporting to our Chief Technical Officer, you will be providing IT support to our employees and occasionally to suppliers and customers.

The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Some of the key responsibilities as part of this will be :
  • Providing IT support by phone, email or in person, on hardware, software, systems and databases;
  • Setting up desktop and laptop computers, ensuring that systems are ready for use and operating correctly;
  • Diagnosing and correcting problems with PC and server hardware, network and internet connectivity and telephone systems;
  • Ensuring the safe disposal of old equipment and used items, in line with recognised procedures and legal requirements.
We are looking for candidates who
  • Have a minimum of 2 years in a similar role and have had experience in administration of Active Directory domains and Server Operating systems;
  • Are experienced in supporting PC's and laptops;
