Job Category: Technical. Vacancy Type: Permanent. Employment Type: Part time. Shift Pattern: 8.45am – 5.00pm Monday – Wednesday, 22.2 hours per week. Salary: £24,900 – £26,093 p.a. pro rata. Location: Chelmsford. Ref No: 3800. Closing Date: 11/01/2026.

About The Role

IT Services are responsible for all aspects of information-technology support and delivery across our University, providing a first-class experience to our students, staff and other stakeholders. This role is a customer service position delivering a wide range of support via the main University telephone switchboard and e-communication tools.

Qualifications and Experience

You will have good communication skills, a customer‑orientated outlook, and experience of telephone‑based support. Experience of working with computer systems in a corporate environment would be advantageous.
