Overview

This is a newly created position for an Infrastructure Architect to join a nationwide technology firm in their Presales Consultant team. Based in Dorking but with hybrid working, this role pays circa £85,000.

This role is a pure presales architect position that will work as a subject matter expert across various IT infrastructure vendors (including but not limited to Microsoft, IBM, Dell, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Veeam, and RedHat Linux). You will engage with customers to discuss technical solutions to their requirements in collaboration with Client Managers.

Responsibilities

• Act as a presales architect, providing solution configuration recommendations, proofs of concept, statements of work, architectural diagrams, quotes, and schedules.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and present technical solutions.
• Coordinate handover to the IT engineering team for implementation once proposals are agreed.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience as an IT Consultant with architecture experience across IT infrastructure vendors (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Dell, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Veeam, RedHat Linux).
