Business Analyst Lead – Energy Trading & Risk Management London | £100–120k base | 5 days in office

A leading commodity business is seeking a Business Analyst Lead to support its global Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platforms. This strategic, hands‑on role bridges trading operations and IT, providing technical expertise and functional insight across commodities including LNG, Gas, Power, Crude, and NGL.

You will lead support for platforms such as RightAngle, Endur, Allegro, and TriplePoint, act as the primary IT liaison on the trading floor, and deliver enhancements that improve risk and trading workflows. Strong skills in SQL, .NET, C#, and integration tools are required, alongside the ability to collaborate with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to ensure platform stability and scalability.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years supporting business / technical applications
• Strong background in trading, scheduling, and accounting processes
• Expertise in SQL, ETRM platforms, and business analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills
