About the Role

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Role Overview

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced IT AV and Events Specialist to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV and working onsite at a prestigious high‑end fashion brand, taking full responsibility for ensuring the seamless execution of all IT and AV‑related aspects of our luxury events, internal meetings, and runway shows. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AV systems, IT infrastructure, and event production, coupled with a passion for delivering high‑quality experiences in a luxury environment.

One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user’s organisation who continue to invest in state‑of‑the‑art technologies, services, and training.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced IT AV and Events Specialist to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • AV & Event Technology Management:
    • Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment for corporate meetings, Townhalls etc
    • Manage live streaming, video conferencing, and sound systems to ensure premium audio‑visual quality.
    • Troubleshoot AV‑related issues on‑site during events, ensuring minimal disruption.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to provide cutting‑edge AV solutions tailored to luxury brand standards.
    • Maintain an inventory of AV and IT equipment, ensuring proper storage, maintenance, and upgrades.
    • Main point of contact for AV related tickets and events.
IT Support & Infrastructure
  • Provide on‑site AV support for corporate meetings, press events, and shows.
  • Ensure seamless integration of AV and IT systems, including networking, connectivity, and security compliance.
  • Manage and troubleshoot software and hardware related to event tech, including interactive displays and digital content management systems.
  • Assist in configuring and supporting mobile devices, laptops, and communication tools used in events.
  • Event Coordination & Technical Production:
    • Work closely with the Events and Creative teams to plan and execute IT & AV components of high‑profile events.
    • Conduct site visits and technical rehearsals ahead of major events.
  • Develop contingency plans and risk assessments for AV/IT failures during critical moments.
  • Liaise with external production teams, sound engineers, and IT vendors to deliver seamless technical support.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in an IT AV support or event technology role within a high‑end, luxury, or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, including sound systems, LED screens, and video conferencing tools with a primary focus on supporting Microsoft Teams meetings and Teams Live Events. Experience working with third‑party AV companies to support productions is essential.
  • Hands‑on experience with live streaming platforms and digital content distribution for high‑profile events.
  • Competency in IT support, including Windows, macOS, networking, and enterprise IT tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑profile environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with creative, technical, and executive teams.
  • Experience in fashion, luxury retail, or high‑end hospitality is highly desirable.
Hours of work

40 hours per week, 9 hours a day on a rotational shift basis between 7am‑7pm, including an hour unpaid break, Monday‑Friday.
