A leading global construction and infrastructure company is seeking an IT Assistant based in Swindon, Wiltshire. The role involves providing 1st line ICT support, managing user accounts, and maintaining various devices. Ideal candidates should have experience in helpdesk support and user account management. Qualifications

  • Experience providing helpdesk support and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, or similar systems.
  • Ability to set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobiles, and tablets.
  • Knowledge of Windows (7, 8, 10, 11), macOS, and basic cross-platform support.

THE BUSINESS

C4S are pleased to be working with a leading global construction and infrastructure company.

THE IT ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY
  • Provide 1st line ICT support, logging, investigating, and resolving user issues.
  • Escalate incidents to the ICT team when required.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, profiles, and access rights.
  • Support business systems administration and updates.
  • Manage and track ICT assets (laptops, mobiles, tablets, phone numbers).
  • Assist with employee ICT onboarding/offboarding.
  • Report suspected misuse or incidents to senior ICT staff.
  • Support large-scale ICT rollouts and projects.
YOUR KEY SKILLS
  • IT Support – Experience providing helpdesk support and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • User Account Management – Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, or similar systems.
  • Device Management – Ability to set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobiles, and tablets.
  • Operating Systems – Knowledge of Windows (7, 8, 10, 11), macOS, and basic cross-platform support.
