Job Title: IT Asset ManagementAdministrator
Target Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 6 Month Secondment
Salary Range: £24,640 - £28,000
Location: Eastleigh, attendance required 4 days per week

IT Asset Management Administrator: As part of the IT Business Management (ITBM) function, this internally focused role will support the end‑to‑end IT Asset Management (ITAM) lifecycle across Ageas UK.

The ITAM Administrator will play a key role in supporting the planning, acquisition, deployment, ongoing management and retirement of IT assets. Working collaboratively with colleagues, the role helps ensure assets are used effectively, deliver value for money, and remain compliant with internal governance and regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with the IT Technical Operations team, IT Functional Heads (ITLT), and our Central Procurement colleagues to help develop and embed modern ITAM practices. Together, you will support the evolving needs of Ageas UK while maintaining a strong focus on value, consistency and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities as IT Asset Management Administrator:
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets, including their specifications, location, ownership, and financial information.
  • Utilise the IT Asset Management (ITAM) system to monitor the movement and status of assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Identify improvements to enhance the use of the ITAM system and leverage maximum value from the tools available.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of the asset inventory and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Ensure effective and compliant deployment of IT devices for the Saga employee and support the onboarding of Esure.
Skills and experience you need as IT Asset Management Administrator:
  • A good understanding of IT hardware technologies, including servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and network equipment aligned to an understanding of how complex IT functions deploy these technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience of a role within an IT asset management team or equivalent function.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
