Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. NBCUniversal is seeking an Intellectual Property Paralegal to join the Brands & Content Intellectual Property team, which supports the development of brands and the production of content for all NBCUniversal businesses globally. Working closely with the attorneys, the paralegals are highly respected team members that manage the Company's extensive worldwide trademark portfolio, including managing all trademark deadlines, driving trademark prosecution and enforcement lifecycles, and managing foreign and outside counsel. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively, as well as identify, present, and discuss challenges early on. You must be detail‑oriented and attentive, with excellent organizational and proofreading skills. Proficiency with trademark, litigation, or general intellectual property practice is preferred.
