Invigilators – Exams Team, Thurrock Campus

Exams Invigilators: We are looking for flexible individuals who would like to work as an invigilator within the Examinations team.

Responsible for:

  • Ensuring students are always complying with examination regulations and dealing with them sensitively.
  • Ensuring all students have equal access to exams.
  • Distribution and collection of examination scripts in the exam room.
  • Handling all aspects of invigilating examinations, particularly online examinations across the College curriculum.
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Required attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Flexibility to cover exams on weekdays, occasional evenings, and Saturdays.
  • Availability to cover multiple campuses.

Working hours: Hours will be offered on a weekly basis and allocated fairly; there is no obligation to accept any hours offered. This is a bank staff position; hours cannot be guaranteed and demand will fluctuate due to the examination calendar.
