Job summary

A leading investment platform based in Bristol is looking for an Investment Operations Implementation Manager. You will manage the launch of new investment vehicles and oversee changes for existing funds, requiring extensive knowledge of multi-asset and bond funds. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end fund process experience and strong stakeholder management skills. Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of funds, including multi-asset, bond funds, equity fund ranges, and CIS vehicles.
  • Experience of running an end-to-end fund process from fund creation to fund closing.
  • Good understanding of asset management.
  • Experience working in a commercial organisation and with stakeholders at all levels.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Operations Implementation Manager to manage the launch of new investment vehicles and strategies as well as key changes for existing funds. This will involve input into the entire life cycle of the investment process, from fund creation and set up, to funds closing and amalgamating under new fund structures.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting the translation of propositional concept to deliverable fund design.
  • Working with business development, fund managers and other internal stakeholders to run robust and competitive selection processes for 3rd party investment managers.
  • Providing management and control of project plans and deliverables.
  • Working closely with SMEs to support the creation of documents and communications necessary to launch new funds.
  • Working across teams and departments to ensure appropriate and effective control and operational infrastructure is in place ahead of fund launch.
  • Management of the key stakeholders at all levels of the business to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Help to develop a robust control environment to enable appropriate levels of risk management for the delivered strategies.
  • Support of ad hoc initiatives and projects.
About you
  • Extensive knowledge of funds, including multi-asset, bond funds, equity fund ranges and CIS vehicles.
  • Experience of running an end-to-end fund process from fund creation to fund closing.
  • Good understanding/knowledge of asset management.
  • Experience of working in a commercial organisation and liaising with all levels of stakeholder. Additional experience of working in a regulated and listed environment will be supportive to your success in this role.
  • Relevant professional qualifications desirable but not mandatory (i.e. IMC or CFA).
Interview process

This will be a 3 stage interview process, consisting of a competency and behavioural based interview and a task.

Working Schedule

This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we currently offer flexibility with a mixture of home and office working.
