Job description
Intervention Teacher – Autism & Communication Specialist

Location: Hillingdon (close to Uxbridge or West Drayton stations – Elizabeth line/Metropolitan line). Part‑time afternoon hours, 12:00pm‑4:00pm. Year 6 intervention and SATs boosters. Start: January 2026. Pay dependent on experience.

About the School

Mainstream primary school with a well‑established Autism Resource Provision in Hillingdon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted Year 6 interventions and SATs boosters.
  • Support students with autism, social communication and speech & language needs.
  • Use evidence‑based approaches (PECS, Colourful Semantics, Attention Autism, SCERTS, Intensive Interaction or similar).
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience supporting children with autism (mainstream or specialist setting).
  • Knowledge of PECS, Colourful Semantics, Attention Autism, SCERTS, Intensive Interaction or similar.
  • Confidence delivering targeted Year 6 interventions/SATs boosters.
  • QTS essential.
  • Safeguarding applies. Indlon required.
