Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer with a leading international multi-disciplinary design consultancy in Central London. They are one of the UK’s Top Employers for 5 years in a row according to Top Employer Institute. Their multi-disciplined team includes MEP (30 strong), Environmental Design & Sustainability, VT, and Architectural Design Lighting. They are involved in high-profile and prestigious projects worldwide, so the role may involve some travel.

Responsibilities:

• Understand mechanical systems design process and undertake related activities for assigned projects.
• Contribute to delivering first-class architecture and engineering on time and within budget.
• Follow company procedures and standards thoroughly.

Skills:

Required:

• Ability to undertake the responsibilities listed above.
• Legally able to work in the country of employment.
• 2 to 4 years of mechanical engineering design experience.
• Basic technical understanding of building mechanical engineering and the role of environmental engineers.
• Developing understanding of other engineering disciplines involved in building design.
• Creative and innovative mindset regarding building design and architecture.
• Ability to collaborate within an integrated design environment.
• Record evidence of ongoing professional development (CPD) aiming for chartered status.
