Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts surrounding insurance, including UK GAAP.
• Proficient in implementing insurance calculation engine tools, ideally Phinsys.
• Ability to analyze data efficiently with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and build of Phinsys product suite.
• Lead testing and reconciliation phases of the project.
• Identify automation opportunities in earnings engine processes.

Skills

Knowledge of accounting concepts surrounding insurance

Experience with insurance calculation engine tools

Advanced Excel skills

Data analysis tools and techniques

Knowledge of Phinsys modules

Intermediate SQL knowledge

Knowledge of PowerPivot and Power Query

Education

Good overall educational standard

Qualified accountant preferable (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
