Interim Senior Estimator and Contract Manager

Role: Senior Estimator and Contract Manager

Location: Hybrid working and in Buckinghamshire

Duration: 6 months initial contract

Are you an Estimating and Contracts professional who thrives on both winning new business and expertly managing what's already in play?

We're working with a recently acquired construction business (now part of a successful turnaround consultancy) that's looking for an interim leader to step in and make an immediate impact.

This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of existing client contracts while driving growth through successful bids and tenders. With wide ranging projects, the business already partners with organisations such as heritage trusts, schools, and local councils - and now wants to expand its reach.

What you'll be doing

  • Tendering & estimating: Lead bids from start to finish, with a sharp eye for competitor pricing, and helping to secure more public sector and commercial contracts.
  • Contract management: Get to grips with the current client portfolio, analyse existing agreements, and ensure transparency in reporting and profitability.
  • Client engagement: Represent the business at meetings and presentations, building trust with stakeholders while spotting opportunities for expansion.
  • Business growth: Increase the number of tenders pursued each year, positioning the company as a trusted supplier across a wider market.
