Interim Finance Process & Controls Specialist - 6 Month FTC

80,000 - 100,000 Hybrid Immediate start

We're partnering with a growing organisation going through a period of change and looking for a qualified finance professional to join on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will play a key part in integrating two centralised finance teams and strengthening financial processes, controls, and reporting.

What you'll be doing
  • Support the integration of two centralised finance teams, ensuring minimal disruption
  • Map, document and improve finance processes for better control, efficiency, and scalability
  • Review and enhance existing financial controls to ensure compliance and robustness
  • Resolve complex balance sheet reconciliations and investigate aged items
  • Support change management initiatives and training across the finance function
  • Work with auditors (internal and external) during the transition period
  • Collaborate across departments to drive end-to-end process improvements
What we're looking for
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience in a controls-focused environment
  • Proven track record in process improvement and finance transformation
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong Excel ability
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work independently, prioritise and problem-solve effectively
