Overview

Interim Head of Finance - Chesterfield (Hybrid)

65,000 - 70,000 + pension

Our client is a market-leading company in their field. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an Interim Head of Finance to lead the finance function through a critical period of transformation.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day leadership to the finance team and support the delivery of management accounts, statutory reporting, and budget planning.

Reporting to the Finance Director, your key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

• Preparing management accounts and investigating variances against budgets and forecasts
• Overseeing statutory reporting, including production of year-end accounts and coordination of the audit
• Managing cash flow, VAT, and Corporation Tax
• Leading the production of budgets and financial forecasts
• Developing and maintaining robust financial models
• Supporting stakeholders to enable effective decision-making

Qualifications

• Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience
• Have a proven track record of leading and developing finance teams
• Demonstrate experience in managing change and transforming financial processes
• Have previous experience working within the UK
• Be based within a commutable distance of Chesterfield - only candidates meeting this requirement will be considered
