We're looking for Interaction Designers to help create services that are simple, fast, and accessible for everyone. At DWP Digital, you'll use your skills to make a real difference, designing solutions that support millions of people every day. You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside other user‑centred design professionals, committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for all our users.
In this role, you'll use research and analytics to understand user needs and design solutions that meet them. You'll create prototypes, test ideas, and design with accessibility and inclusion at the heart of everything you do. Collaboration is key, you'll work openly with your team, share knowledge, and make sure your designs are consistent with the GOV.UK Design System.
You’ll also contribute to the wider Interaction Design community within DWP and across government, helping to set standards and share best practice. We offer a highly supportive environment with plenty of opportunities to grow your skills and learn new ones.
You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield, whichever is most convenient for you.
We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
We offer competitive pay of up to £46,547.
