Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to join our growing Broxburn-based client as an Intake Operative.

What's on offer?

• Monday to Friday, 06:00 and 15:00 (37.33 hours per week)
• £12.21 per hour - paid weekly
• Temporary to permanent opportunity

Your duties as an Intake Operative will include:

• Identifying different products
• Unloading delivery vehicles
• Inspecting materials for contamination and conducting HACCP checks
• Maintaining an accurate count of stock, including weighing and scanning onto the processing line and trailers
• Operating machinery while keeping equipment sterile and appropriately maintained
• Completing paperwork and maintaining accurate records

Skills and experience required:

• Previous experience working in a similar role within a busy food processing environment is essential
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict hygiene and safety procedures
• Ideally have access to your own vehicle

Please note: This role involves working in a chilled environment, but full protective PPE will be provided.
