Our client, a multinational financial services company, is seeking an insurance lawyer to cover a 6-month paternity leave.

The Legal Team plays an active role in shaping strategic business decisions, providing commercially focused, solutions-oriented advice.

Key responsibilities
  • Primarily BAU commercial insurance matters, product distribution and partnerships in a heavily regulated fast paced environment. This role is not focused on contentious or non contentious claims.
  • You will be dealing with Insurance distribution particularly in personal lines to handle tasks such as partnership arrangements and distribution agreements.

The ideal candidate will have pragmatic in-house insurance distribution experience, as the client takes pride in handling most legal work internally to maintain high quality standards. Strong communication is essential as is adaptability, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Role Details
  • Start Date: Early January 2026
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Capacity: Full Time
  • Location: Hybrid 1 - 2 days per week in London office, including Tuesdays
  • IR35 Status: Inside IR35- contracting via an umbrella company
