We have a fantastic opportunity for a detail‑focused and customer‑centred Insurance Claims Handler to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, working methodically, and making fair, balanced decisions, this role offers the chance to really make a meaningful difference to our policyholders.

Responsibilities
  • Managing insurance claims from first notification through to resolution, ensuring fairness, accuracy and compliance
  • Investigating claims, assessing liability and coverage, and making informed decisions
  • Negotiating settlements and keeping customers clearly updated throughout the process
  • Identifying potential fraudulent activity and escalating where required
  • Maintaining accurate, well‑organised records and contributing ideas to enhance our claims processes
Candidate Profile

You should bring strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, paired with excellent communication and negotiation ability. You will be highly organised, confident managing multiple cases at once, and have outstanding attention to detail. We look for someone who is empathetic, resilient, and comfortable making fair, balanced decisions – always acting with integrity.

We expect the applicant to hold at least GCSEs or equivalent, with A‑levels or a degree preferred. Professional qualifications such as CII are an advantage. Previous experience in insurance, claims handling, or a similar customer‑focused environment would be beneficial. Above all, you should be motivated, customer‑driven, and keen to grow your career within a supportive team.
