Job summary

A specialist MGA in construction insurance is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to build and deepen its broker portfolio. In this role, you will own a panel of UK brokers, drive growth and broker satisfaction, and identify new brokers active in construction and property insurance. You'll work closely with underwriters and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's market approach. This position offers flexibility to work in London or remotely within the UK.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Wholesale Broker or BDM for an MGA, dealing with broker panels.
  • A track record of growing GWP and commission through broker development.

We are growing and are looking for an experienced Insurance Business Development Manager to help us build and deepen our broker portfolio.

The opportunity
You will :
  • Own and develop a panel of UK brokers, with responsibility for growth and broker satisfaction.
  • Identify and onboard new brokers who are active in construction and property insurance.
  • Work closely with our underwriters to shape deals, manage expectations and protect capacity.
  • Help to open up selected international opportunities with brokers and partners overseas.
  • Play a visible role in shaping how Exance goes to market as a specialist MGA.
