Business Analyst (Insurance) - Day-Rate Contract

Locations: York, Bristol, London, Perth or Glasgow (hybrid)
Contract: 12 months
Multiple roles | Day rate: £450-£525 Inside IR35

About the role

We're hiring experienced Business Analysts to support large-scale integration and transformation across Personal Lines and Claims. You'll work with cross-functional teams to map processes, shape data and technology change, and ensure delivery lands cleanly into the business.

Workstreams
  • Claims & Personal Lines: BA support across core insurance processes and change initiatives.
  • Guidewire (Cloud): Analysis for upgrades/migrations; experience here is a strong plus.
  • GenAI - Next Best Action: Define use-cases and requirements for decisioning in Claims.
  • Data Automation (Snowflake): Help migrate DLG data to Snowflake and streamline pipelines.
  • Big Data programmes: Personal Lines data, Claims data and PPUD initiatives.
  • Pricing: Process mapping; identifying synergies, systems thinking & mapping.
What you'll bring
  • Proven Insurance background (General Insurance essential).
  • Strong BA toolkit: requirements, gap analysis, AS-IS/TO-BE, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, user stories/acceptance criteria.
  • Experience in one or more of: Guidewire Cloud, Claims, Personal Lines, Snowflake/data engineering, GenAI in Claims, Pricing change.
  • Curiosity for data science in the Claims space and the ability to translate complex data topics for business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working on integration programmes post-acquisition.
