Insurance Advisor

Barker Munro recruitment is pleased to be able to offer this exciting opportunity within a friendly and well-established insurance business that is looking to expand during 2026. This role seeks someone with experience in customer service and/or sales who wants to develop their career within the Insurance industry. You will be the voice the client’s trust, delivering confident, problem-solving, and exceptional service.

An exciting opportunity is available for an Insurance Advisor. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients—handling queries, resolving issues, and ensuring every interaction reflects the commitment to excellence. You’ll work closely with clients to support policy administration and client retention. You will process general customer enquiries, policy alterations, renewals and introduce new/additional products and services to clients. There will be an opportunity to pro-actively establish new sales opportunities by cross selling and to be able to introduce the full suite of products.

Responsibilities

About you
  • Individuals who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to an already existing and prospective client base.
  • A confident personality who can work well within a team environment but can also work just as well as an individual and be comfortable dealing with people over the telephone.
  • Someone who is bright and engaging and shows initiative and has a “can do” attitude.
  • Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Sales and/or customer service experience from within the Insurance Industry would be desirable.
