Job description

To help us achieve our expansion ambitions we are looking for an Installation Operative to hit the ground running within our growing team. If you have experience within civil engineering, the construction industry or have an armed forces background, and are looking for a career in a reputable business with fantastic progression paths, then this is the role for you!

Responsibilities
  • Promote and exercise the company's mission statement and core values to deliver a high-quality installation service across the UK.
  • Install pipework and assist our drivers with loading and unloading of our vehicles as well as checking against paperwork, missing items, damages, and fuel charges.
  • Maintain a good level of fitness as the role is physically demanding.
  • Identify and recommend creative solutions and processes to make our business more unique, attractive and efficient.
  • Put safety first at all times, demonstrating the confidence, knowledge and experience to stop the installation and advise your supervisor if any safety issues arise.
  • Participate in a safety‑critical medical assessment.
  • Have the aptitude to work on client sites, including construction, wastewater and clean water projects.
  • Work flexible hours and be available to be part of an on‑call rota, likely working 1 in 3 weekends.
  • Travel to jobs throughout the UK and work away from home on occasion.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Willingness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, lone working and with sewage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Holder of a construction skills CSCS card.
  • National Water Hygiene Card.
  • Confined space training.
  • Forklift truck operator certification.
  • An understanding of the workings of a temporary or permanent pumping solution.
