Job Title

Mobile Fitter

Overview

£OTE 35‑40K, BS30 (Bristol), monthly bonus £250, 40‑hour standard week (likely ~50 hours) with paid overtime, 28 days holiday, pension, permanent role. Mobile working most days, full driving licence required. The role involves delivering, fitting and installing mechanical conveyor equipment at customer sites and in the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical fitting and installation duties at customer sites and in the workshop
• Change bearings, rollers, and motors at site locations and facilities
• Read basic engineering drawings (preferred)
• Liaise with customers as a professional point of contact
• Travel in a team of two; drive depot van, start early (6 am), and accommodate occasional overnight stays (fully expensed)

Qualifications

• Previous field service or mechanical fitting experience
• Knowledge of conveyors or similar production machinery (preferred)
• Engineering qualifications preferable but not essential if suitable work history exists
• Full driving licence
