A global telecommunications company is seeking Inspectors for their operations in Greenwich, SE10. The role demands strong attention to detail and prior experience in Inspection or Quality Control. Working hours are 42.5 hours per week, with shift flexibility required. This is an essential position within the manufacturing process of electro-optical and mechanical units.
We are currently recruiting Inspectors to work in a busy clean production environment on behalf of a global telecommunications company.
We are seeking Inspectors with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing precision work.
Inspectors play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the safe and accurate assembly of electro‑optical and mechanical units for subsea telecommunication equipment. This may include knowledge of fibre optic handling and splicing.
Inspectors are assigned to various departments, with each role contributing to the creation of high‑specification products, adhering to specific requirements. Collectively, they play a vital and unique role in the overall creation and assembly of our products.
All work is carried out in an Electrostatic Protected Area.
Prior experience in similar Inspection or Quality Control is required.
Positions may also involve tasks such as manual handling, lifting of heavy objects, manual dexterity, and periods of sitting or standing.
Manufacturing Operators may be required to work a mix of shifts, days, nights, and weekends. Further information on the shifts will be provided as part of the interview process.
