Job Title: Inspection Technician

Contract Type: Permanent, Monday - Thursday (4-day week)

Join our client's dynamic team as an Inspection Technician, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring quality standards in our engineering production environment. This exciting Inspection Technician opportunity is perfect for a motivated individual with experience in engineering inspection, looking to take on a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities - Inspection Technician
  • Inspect manufactured parts, first-offs, final assemblies, outsourced parts, and raw materials to engineering drawings and purchase order requirements
  • Upload quality certifications to the ERP system and support compilation of technical documentation packs prior to dispatch
  • Raise quality issues on the company ERP system and compile FAIRs and concessions to demonstrate process and product conformity
  • Develop an in-house calibration program for simple measuring equipment and coordinate external/onsite calibration for all site requirements
  • Support the development of inspection techniques, standard measuring equipment usage, and work instructions for consistent inspection practices
Qualifications & Requirements - Inspection Technician
  • Proven mechanical engineering background or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field
  • Experience working within an ISO9001:2015 quality certified organisation or equivalent quality management system
  • Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings, test specifications, and other technical documentation
  • Proficiency in using conventional inspection equipment, measuring in both imperial and metric units, or equivalent measurement experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, or equivalent software for documentation and data management
