Inside Sales Support - Freight Forwarding

Leading Global Logistics company currently has a requirement to recruit an experienced Inside Sales Support - Freight Forwarding expert. The position will be based at the Warrington Office but would also consider Basildon Office.

Your role will include general duties, answering incoming calls, liaising with customers and overseas offices by phone and email. Deep‑sea shipping experience either as a Freight Forwarder or with a line is desired. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing for FCL mainly exports with some imports
• Quote customers to defined KPI's providing good customer service.
• Build relationships with suppliers and clients alike to the benefit of the business
• Generate leads and opportunities working with external sales to extend our existing client base
• Targeted follow up looking to increase conversion.
• Pro‑active efforts to manage and develop our customer base
• Working closely with our operations team on converted business, ensuring a smooth transition from quote to booking

The role will suit individuals currently working as Inside Sales Support - Freight Forwarding, Internal Sales, Global Logistics, Deep Sea Freight, International Cargo and be living within a commutable distance of Warrington, St Helens, Liverpool, Chester, Widnes, Basildon, Essex or be willing to relocate.
