Qualifications

  • Fully conversant with injection moulding processes.
  • Strong tool and product fault-finding skills.
  • Knowledge of H&S regulations, including COSHH.

Responsibilities

  • Train operators and setters to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot processing issues and document actions.
  • Introduce new products and optimise machine cycle times.
  • Monitor equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Liaise with other departments to meet customer requirements.
  • Support Team Leaders or Mould Setters as needed.
  • Maintain housekeeping and health & safety standards.

Position: Injection Moulding Technician
Location:Banbury
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Shift:Days and Nights (3 on 3 off)

Injection Moulding Technician role:
Provide comprehensive support to the manufacturing team by ensuring all moulding processes are maintained, optimised, and compliant to meet output, quality, and safety standards.

Injection Moulding Technician Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop operators and setters to meet quality, safety, and skills standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues, documenting corrective actions.
  • Introduce new products efficiently and optimise machine/robot cycle times.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, performing preventative maintenance.
  • Liaise with other departments to meet customer requirements.
  • Support and cover for Team Leaders or Mould Setters as needed.
  • Maintain housekeeping, PPE compliance, and health & safety standards.


Injection Moulding TechnicianExperience:

  • Fully conversant with injection moulding processes.
  • Strong tool and product fault-finding skills.
  • Experience with Engel, Sepro Robots (advantage).
  • Knowledge of H&S regulations, including COSHH.
