Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Specialist to join our Infrastructure Team., The post holder will work in the Infrastructure Team to deliver an integrated ICT support service within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). They must have the ability to demonstrate a logical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical faults on supported equipment throughout the organisation. The post holder will be a member of a team providing technical support to users of Innovates ICT services hardware and software. The post holder will provide advanced technical support on core infrastructure technologies not limited to LAN, WAN, Firewall, Storage and Compute technologies. They will also provide a point of contact for delivering infrastructure projects for all stakeholders. The post holder will be required to provide 24 x 7 on-call support on a rota basis for all ICT supported services and liaise with specialised support groups and 3rd parties on incident resolution.

We are looking for a team player who is able to work closely with colleagues within the Infrastructure Team, as well as with those we support and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience of assisting users in a healthcare environment and of working with a wide range of stakeholders across the wider health and social care system. Advanced IT skills, particularly with Lan / Wan and Server Technologies, will be essential, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to undertake written work to a high standard.
