Infrastructure/Network BA - £500PD - Outside IR35 - Croydon

I am currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Business Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical company on a contract basis. You will be supporting major infrastructure transformation projects, with a primary focus on network migrations, SD-WAN implementations, and VMware environments.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact programme within a regulated pharmaceutical environment, where resilient infrastructure is critical to global operations, research, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Support network migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to critical pharmaceutical operations.
• Capture and validate requirements for SD-WAN implementation, collaborating with network engineers and solution architects.
• Assist in VMware environment upgrades/migrations, ensuring compliance with business continuity, data integrity, and regulatory requirements.
• Document "as-is" and "to-be" processes, data flows, and dependencies across infrastructure domains.
• Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments for proposed changes in a highly regulated industry.
• Support testing, validation, and acceptance processes for infrastructure changes.
• Produce clear business and technical documentation to support project delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within infrastructure and network projects.
• Strong background in network migrations and related dependencies.
• Hands-on experience working on SD-WAN implementations.
• Knowledge and exposure to VMware environments (migration, upgrade, or optimisation).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to document technical and non-technical requirements clearly and concisely.
