Overview

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will use your skills in Linux administration to integrate, create and enhance enterprise infrastructure services.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance system integration capability and support efficient delivery of projects across the department.
  • Apply AI-driven techniques to generate insights and improve observability across our estate.
  • Support architects with broader technical initiatives and upskill across these areas.
  • Provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis, occasionally requiring in-office weekend presence.
Qualifications
  • Linux (Red Hat or Ubuntu derivatives).
  • Fluency in one or more of Python, Go, bash, PowerShell or Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of Version Control (Git) and CI/CD principles.
  • Experience working with public cloud is advantageous.
  • Fundamental understanding of networking, load balancing, storage and virtualisation.
  • Experience in collecting and visualising metric and log data, such as Splunk or Elastic.
  • Effective time management, organisation and work prioritisation to meet deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply a logical approach to problem solving while under pressure.
