Expected starting salary: £30,400 - £32,000

As an Information Security Analyst, you will support key business functions including incident response, data protection, access control, penetration testing coordination, and internal consultancy. The analyst will work closely with senior team members to maintain and improve the organisation\'s security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to business requests relating to Information Security.
  • Support the undertaking of Information Security risk assessments.
  • Support the undertaking of compliance assessments, audits, reviews and workshops.
  • Assist in assessing Information Security policy exceptions.
  • Provide consultancy, advice, guidance and training to all areas within AEGON UK.

We\'d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Some experience in an information security or IT operations role.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection.
  • Understanding of core security principles and incident response processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

It would also be great - but not essential - if you\'ve got:

  • Relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, SSCP, GIAC).
  • Experience with identity and access management tools and processes.
  • Awareness of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOx, PCI-DSS, FSA regulations).
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
