Location

North of the UK (Midlands upwards), including England and Northern Ireland. Some dotted accounts in London and a few Welsh trusts. Primarily remote, home based with 10% travel.

Innovative antimicrobial products - disinfecting agent, hospital curtains, gowns, hard surface cleaner, sanitising fabric spray, absorbent spill power

Who you'll be working for

You will be joining a global leader within Infection Prevention and Control with industry-leading innovative antimicrobial products that help significantly improve standards of patient care by preventing the transmission of healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs).

The company develops antimicrobial medical devices that protect patients from nosocomial infections, translating scientific innovation from bench to bedside to address the urgent public health challenge of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). In collaboration with leading clinicians and scientists specialising in infection control, antibiotic stewardship, and pandemic preparedness, it supports the clinical adoption of its patented technology, which demonstrates best-in-class efficacy against drug-resistant and multi-drug-resistant pathogens. What you’ll be doing
  • You will play an instrumental role in identifying and developing new business opportunities to rapidly increase the volume of sales into NHS hospitals and drive revenue growth in your territory.
  • You will be required to develop thorough knowledge of infectious disease, IP&C and antimicrobial technologies, and must keep up to date with the latest advancements in research.
  • You will be responsible for the full sales cycle and will need to interact with and develop strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders in the NHS.
  • This is an exciting role for a driven and committed individual with a passion for making a difference and is specifically designed to enable the successful candidate to grow their career as the organisation grows and enters new markets.
Here’s what you need
  • You will have a relevant life science degree (microbiology, virology, immunology, epidemiology, etc.) or experience in healthcare sales. Medical device sales is an advantageous but not essential.
  • Confidence in presenting and quick thinking.
  • Strong interest in sales and new business development.
  • Interest in healthcare, science, and technology.
  • General warmth, kindness, and a personable demeanour due to working with busy NHS stakeholders.

Bonus: KPIs: £5,000 and uncapped commission

Expenses & equipment: All travel expenses, including car mileage, are covered, and all necessary tech will be provided.
