A well-respected industrial refrigeration company in Dartford is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to provide service and maintenance on large industrial systems. The role requires experience in ammonia plant service and a relevant safe handling of ammonia certificate. Offering a competitive salary of £48.5k to £53.5k, travel pay, and extensive benefits including an iPhone and 26 days holiday. Ideal candidates will reside around North London or the Home Counties.

Job description

My Client is a very well respected player in the industrial refrigeration / ammonia plant refrigeration sector, with a worldwide multi million pound turnover and a name that is known by everyone in the industry. They are very well established and as such have financial stability for its employees, as well as a solid product range. They have contracts with a lot of high profile companies and supermarkets and are looking to expand into the coming years.

Responsibilities

• Providing service, maintenance and breakdown cover on large industrial refrigeration equipment
• Working with ammonia plant, spiral freezers, large cold rooms, refrigerated ware houses, recip and screw compressor set ups
• Working with commercial offices, railway stations, factories, food outlets etc.
• Covering in and around the London and Home Counties area

Skills Needed to be an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer

• Experience needed in ammonia plant / industrial refrigeration service and maintenance
• They are looking for either an intermediate or senior engineer
• Living anywhere around the London or home counties area would be great, around north London or Essex or Hertfordshire would be perfect and also Kent would be good
• Relevant safe handling of ammonia certificate
