Lead meetings for children's care and protection, ensuring decisions are made and plans are reviewed.
Ensure meetings are timely, accurate, and compliant with legal standards.
Advocate for children's voices in meetings and encourage their participation.
Challenge decisions if needed to ensure effective care plans.
Collaborate with professionals for the best outcomes for children.
Identify resource needs and suggest improvements.
Promote high standards of practice and build strong relationships with partners.
Review and audit cases to ensure safety and quality.
Analyze data and share best practices across the service.
Participate in duty systems for timely issue resolution.
Coordinate investigations when needed.
Lead specific areas of care planning and contribute to service improvement.
Stay informed on relevant knowledge, legislation, and research.
Support service‑wide quality assurance efforts.
Contribute to the Service Business Plan and align policies with national standards.
Support training and development initiatives.
Communicate effectively in challenging situations.
Support social workers and encourage evidence‑based decision making.
Ensure compliance with information sharing and data protection laws.
Promote equality, diversity, and customer care in all duties.
Participate in team meetings and continuous professional development.
Represent the service at meetings and conferences.
Maintain accurate and lawful client information.
Use performance management systems to analyze and improve practices.
