A leading engineering firm in Plymouth is seeking an Independent Peer Review Manager to oversee safety standards in nuclear operations. You will manage a team of specialists, ensuring compliance and conducting independent reviews. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in safety engineering and relevant qualifications. As the Independent Peer Review Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a unique opportunity to influence safety standards, shape methodologies, and contribute to projects that protect national security while advancing your career in a highly specialised field.
Day-to-day, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring nuclear safety and compliance across one of the UK’s most complex and high-profile engineering environments. You’ll lead a team of specialists, manage independent reviews of safety cases and design changes, and provide assurance to senior leadership.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
