About the Team:

The Income Maximisation team is focused on optimising income from regeneration and commercial property portfolios while supporting wider local authority objectives. We work in a fast-paced, results-driven and highly collaborative culture within a political environment, requiring adaptability, professionalism, and strong stakeholder awareness. The role offers excellent opportunities for growth and development, enabling officers to build a comprehensive understanding of income generation, regeneration projects, and the broader workings of a local authority, while developing commercial, analytical, and decision‑making skills.

About the Role:

The Income Maximisation Officer is responsible for maximising income across regeneration and property portfolios by monitoring performance, identifying opportunities for growth, and addressing income risks. The role involves analysing financial and property data, supporting rent reviews and lease management, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and contributing to reports and recommendations within a political local authority environment. The postholder will also support regeneration initiatives and ensure income‑related activities align with council policies and strategic objectives.
