What skills and experience we're looking for

The Morley Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague for the role of Inclusion and Safeguarding Officer with strategic responsibility for persistently and severely absent students. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will be working alongside Senior Leaders in charge of attendance and inclusion and will support the day-to-day inclusion and safeguarding systems and processes across the academy, ensuring total consistency, efficiency, and rigour in approach.

Potential applicants should have:
  • 5 GCSEs grade C/4 and above including English and Mathematics
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of attendance systems within an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding processes within an educational setting.
  • Experience supporting students to improve behaviours.
  • A passion for education and making a difference.
